Tzatziki Recipe with Mint
This tzatziki recipe with mint is a delicious variation of the traditional tzatziki. Serve as a dip for pieces of different raw vegetables or whole wheat bread. Or try it as a cool, refreshing sauce to accompany your grilled meat.
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 cup strained yogurt 2 cucumbers, grated 1 tsp fresh/dried mint or spearmint 3 gloves garlic, finely chopped Salt 2 drops vinegar 4 drops olive oil
Preparation
1. Whisk the yogurt with the cucumbers, garlic, olive oil, salt and vinegar. 2. Pour the tzatziki in a bowl and sprinkle with mint. Chill the bowl for an hour before serving.
Alternative: Add most of the mint with the yogurt and just leave some of it to sprinkle on top.
