Guilt Free Evening Snack
A recipe for an evening snack that you can enjoy in front of the television without making you feel guilty about it.
Having a snack in front of the television can be a true weight loss pitfall, but what do you do when you’re used to it and it makes you relax?
What you need is something that is low calorie and that doesn’t affect your blood sugar levels.
You will eventually kick the eating-in-front-of-the-television-habit and you will find other ways to relax. But in the meantime try this one.
You can basically eat as much as you want. It will satisfy your taste buds and fill your stomach without making you feel guilty about eating too much.
This is usually enough for one serving, but you can eat more if you feel it’s necessary.
Ingredients
1 onion As much cabbage as you can fit in the palms of your hands 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon of soy sauce ½ chopped apple (optional)
Spice it up with: Roasted chopped cashews Chopped olives Grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
1. Cut the onion in half and slice it thinly. 2. Chop up the cabbage. 3. Heat up the wok and add the olive oil. 4. Add the onion and stir fry until it softens a bit, then add the cabbage. Stir fry until it has the consistency you like, some people like it crunchier than others. 5. Sprinkle the cashews, olives or parmesan as you serve it.
