2-3 servings Ingredients 1 dozen ripe strawberries 1 cup 70 % dark chocolate A little white chocolate, optional Preparation 1. Prepare a baking sheet or a plate with waxed paper. 2. Wash the strawberries and dry them thoroughly, preferable with paper towel. 3. Cut the dark chocolate in small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate until it melt, stirring every 30 seconds. 4. Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it in chocolate, twirling it in a circular motion to evenly cover most of the berry. When you lift the strawberry from the chocolate, twirl it so that any excess chocolate drips back into the bowl. 5. Place the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet or plate and repeat with the remaining strawberries and chocolate. 6. Place the white chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl and microwave until it melt. Dip a fork in the white chocolate and drizzle the white chocolate over the dipped strawberries. 7. Once all of the berries are dipped, leave them to cool for about 10 minutes and then refrigerate them for 30 minutes to set the chocolate. Enjoy! These strawberries taste best when eaten the same day they are made.
